“Dope” started one night when we were hanging out and we realized we’ve traveled so many places together for weddings and with 4+ years in the wedding industry, why not combine our services and specialize in what we’re passionate about? Elopements.
Most couples that want to have an intimate elopement or small wedding typically end up falling into the wedding whirlpool and have a big wedding. We want to be the difference in the wedding industry, people you can rely on to take with you wherever you go.

Who is Dope?
Here’s a little back story on who we are…
Hope & Devon are best friends/roommates who actually grew up together and share family.They got the name “Dope” when they were coming up with their wifi password and decided the easiest thing for them to remember is just to combine their names.(it’s a weak password, we know)
Together they’ve had many opportunities to travel and meet new people. That’s how they got “destinations”.
They quickly realized that they love working with couples who are focused on each other and not all the wedding fluff. The primary focus isn’t Instagramable shots, but photos and moments you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
When you book with DOPE, you’ll gain two new best friends who will support and hype you up the whole time. Our focus is on YOU and YOUR dream! We want to make YOUR vision come to life.
Devon has had a camera in her hand for over 8 years but she started her journey in the wedding industry about 4 years ago and has been full time for 2. She began to notice how much she loved photographing people in love and was passionate about capturing raw emotions. She has a huge heart for people and loves to make people feel confident in front of the camera. She’s got a bold spirit and is always determined to take on the next adventure! She’s your personal hype girl.

Hope has been in the cosmetology industry for over 6 years. She loves to make people feel beautiful. She carries an infectious joy with a positive attitude wherever she goes. She is a go getter and walks in so much wisdom. Hope found herself in the wedding industry taking photos about 2 years ago when Devon asked her to photograph her branding photos. She soon realized she had an eye for photography as well. With a little training she quickly became Devon’s right hand man and main 2nd shooter. Every wedding they’ve worked together, every bride has mentioned how much she loves having Hope there. She not only helps with photos but assists the entire day and touches up hair & makeup. She has mad skills she’s ready to take anywhere!
